NRVE Systems moves into another promising year of growth by appointing seasoned executive leader Jim Furlong as the new Chief Executive Officer.
Miami, Florida, December 21, 2021. NRVE Systems is pleased to announce that Jim Furlong has been appointed as the new CEO of the company effective January 1. 2022. An experienced executive risk professional, Mr. Furlong will succeed NRVE founder, Jordyn Hollander who will transition to Chairman and Chief Innovation Officer to focus on innovation and strategic planning.
In addition to providing strategic risk guidance across various industries during his 30-year career, over the past 15 years Jim has held several key c-level executive positions in the natural resources, transportation and manufacturing industries and has participated in various mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital expansion projects where his vision and ability to lead effective teams has shown the value of his leadership.

In his most recent role with J.D. Irving, Limited Jim managed the risk portfolio for multiple manufacturing, transportation, and agricultural corporations, as well as provided leadership to the corporate central support functions and was a strong supporter of the emerging leaders programs as an executive mentor. He also oversaw the management of COVID-19 pandemic related activities for the 18,000-employee strong company as well as worked as an industry resource to various government departments developing response efforts early on in the pandemic.
